Mesa is where ACME started

Same street. Since 1997.

Many locksmiths are fly by night companies formed last quarter, a van rented this month, and a call center in another state. ACME opened on E. Main Street in 1997. One owner. Same techs. Modern locksmith services.

When we started out, Eastmark hadn’t broken ground. Cadence at Gateway was desert. Riverview wasn’t a thought. Yet, we were already here.

That’s why locals trust us first. We run the YouTube channel Locksmith Recommended with 80K+ followers.

Mesa builder home alert

Did Lennar, Meritage, or Taylor Morrison build your Mesa home before 2017?

National builders including Lennar, Meritage, and Taylor Morrison installed Gen 1 and Gen 2 Kwikset SmartKey locks on homes across the valley before 2017, including communities in Eastmark and other East Valley neighborhoods. Those early SmartKey cylinders can be bypassed in seconds with a cheap tool sold online. Kwikset fixed the vulnerability in later SmartKey 2.0 and 3.0 cylinders, but the pre-2017 generation is still in millions of homes. We replace them in Mesa daily.

Robert Vallelunga, owner of ACME Locksmith, raised in Mesa

I grew up in Mesa, went to Mountain View High, and bought ACME in 2007. The shop on E. Main is where ACME started in 1997, and I’ve been there ever since. When ABC15, CBS5, or 3TV’s Pat McMahon Show needs someone to explain a locksmith scam, a safe rating, or a smart lock failure on camera, they call me. I’m a cited source on WikiHow for security how-to articles.

The techs you’ll meet on at your Mesa job are W-2 employees, uniformed, and background-checked. No subcontractors. No out-of-state call centers. No van that pulled into town yesterday. Veteran-owned, owner-operated, still on Main Street.

Awesome service from Carter at Acme Locksmith! He was very knowledgeable and professional. Had my car key cut and programmed in about 10 minutes. Works like the original. Very happy with this business
  • Avatar Kevin McPherson ★★★★★ 3 weeks ago
I stopped in to get a key fob programmed. Carter was able to program the fob in about 5 minutes. It works great and the cost was $150 less than another locksmith I called. I would recommend Acme Locksmiths.

Came in to the shop because the gas tank door lock was having a difficult time working. Had to wiggle and stuff to get it to work.
Carter came out to look at the lock. Took him less than 30 seconds to figure it out.
