Safe Repair, Service, and Moving in Phoenix

ACME Locksmith repairs, services, and moves safes across the Phoenix metro. We are a veteran-owned, licensed company that has worked the Valley from four shops since 1997, with over 170,000 jobs completed. We change combinations, replace and upgrade dial and electronic locks, service worn bolt work, handle gun safe repair, and move and bolt down safes for homes, offices, and gun owners. For safes brought in, our Scottsdale and Gilbert safe centers have worked on safes longer than most shops have been open. We help safe owners in Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Gilbert, and across the metro.

What We Do for Your Safe

Keep a good safe working, or fix one that is not.

Changed safe combination

Combination changes

Working dial or keypad? We will change the code. Door open but combo unknown? We can still reset it.

Electronic safe lock with audit trail

Lock repair and upgrades

Swap a worn or failed dial or electronic lock, or convert a dial to a modern keypad.

Service and tune-up

Loose bolt work, a stiff dial, or numbers that drift are all signs a safe needs service before it locks you out.

ACME Locksmith moving a safe in Phoenix

Safe Moving and Bolt-Down

We move safes throughout Phoenix, and we will bolt yours down so it cannot be carried off. We bolt into standard slabs, but never into a post-tension slab, that is dangerous, and some safes do not need bolting at all. Ask us and we will give you the straight recommendation.

Need a different safe entirely? You can shop safes online, and we will deliver and install it.

Dial vs Electronic: Which Lock Is Better?

Tired of right-left-right dialing? Here is the honest comparison.

Dial locks are simple and last for decades, but when one fails it almost always means drilling and repair, the most expensive safe service there is. Regular service prevents the dial drift that causes most failures.

Electronic locks are faster to use and cheaper to fix, the keypad usually swaps out without drilling. Skip any electronic lock with a key override, since the keyhole becomes the easy way in.

Best of both: a dual lock with both a keypad and a backup dial, so a single failure never locks you out.

Serving the Phoenix Valley

We serve the entire Phoenix Valley from four shops: Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, and Gilbert, with mobile service across the metro.

Safe Service FAQ

Can you change my safe's combination?

Yes, on both dials and electronic locks. If the door is open we can reset the combination even when you do not know the current one.

Are electronic safe locks reliable?

Yes, and they are cheaper to fix than a dial. A failed keypad usually swaps out without drilling. We recommend dual locks with a keypad and backup dial so one failure never locks you out.

My safe dial is getting hard to turn. Is that a problem?

It is an early warning. A stiff dial, loose bolt work, or numbers that drift mean it is time to service the safe before it fails and needs drilling.

Do you move safes?

Yes. We move and reinstall safes across Phoenix and bolt them down where it is safe to do so, never into a post-tension slab.

Should I repair my safe or replace it?

If repair costs less than a comparable new safe, repair it. If not, we will tell you, and you can shop safes online and we will install the new one.
