Is there a smart lock for glass storefront doors?
Yes. We install a true wireless smart lock made for storefront doors with mortise locks. It fits the narrow aluminum frame and meets free-egress code. It can be opened by PIN, fingerprint, FOB card or app.
Do commercial smart locks need Wi-Fi?
Not always. Some use Bluetooth, but you have to be near the lock to change programming. For remote opening, monitoring, and scheduling from off site, you need Wi-Fi.
Are commercial smart locks secure enough for a business?
Yes. We only install commercial-grade locks with long battery life, strong encryption, and backup key access. You get low-battery warnings well before one dies.
